I am often asked, "How did you become a massage therapist?"

I started as an ill-adapted paralegal with a secret desire to make a living using my heart instead of my head. After accepting that corporate America was not for me, I began seeking a way to transform my life.

I was guided to my first yoga class at the local YMCA in 1999. From the moment I found my ‘sit bones’ my soul rejoiced and all the stress and anxiety of trying to fit my very round self into the world's square pegs melted away. I was at peace with my mind, body and spirit. I became a certified yoga instructor in 2002 and started teaching classes after work and on weekends.

Through teaching yoga, practicing meditation, and creating more peace in my own life I became curious about what more I could offer. Massage was the perfect complement.

My desire to grasp the intricacies of the human body and dedication to help facilitate healing for others lead me to become a licensed massage therapist. I have helped thousands of people like you feel better through therapeutic relaxation, massage and energy work.

education & certifications

I became a certified Hatha instructor through Two Suns Rising Yoga in St. Augustine, FL in 2001. TSRY teaches the philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism, which is the study of dualistic and nondualistic schools of thought. This practice essentially boils down to: in life we strive to connect to the pure consciousness of ALL that is through both stillness and dynamic vitality, and through self-reflection and action.

I graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage and Advanced Bodywork (now known as: Florida School of Advanced Bodywork) in 2003 with a focused training in clinical and therapeutic massage. Shortly after, I opened my massage practice in Jacksonville Beach. I have received various certifications specializing in other healing modalities including: Cranial-Sacral Level I, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Thai Massage, Relaxing Face Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish Massage, Assisted Stretching, Access Consciousness, Foundations of Lymphatic Drainage, Acupressure Foundation I and Cupping.

In 2017 I became a Reiki Master through InnerChi. I have been practicing Reiki since 2004.

"I feel so blessed to love what I do and do what I love."

A calling exists deep within me and lead me to the realization that I am here to be of service. I am inspired to help others find peace and ease in their lives. In what capacity took some figuring out, and I know there is still more to come. Stay tuned!

with gratitude,
